MSR Snow Fluke Anchor

The MSR Snow Fluke is the lightest deadman commercially available. The patent-pending design utilizes a frame-and-decking combination to reduce weight without compromising holding power. Two sizes are available.

The safest quick snow belay is a properly buried deadman, but somehow they often get left out of the sack at the last moment in a bid to reduce weight so these MSR ones can help as they are 100g plus lighter than an all aluminium one.
