Mammut Wall Rider Helmet

A cutting edge, super-lightweight climbing helmet from Mammut. Using a single piece of expanded polypropylene (EPP) to form the shell and a simplistic, yet effective, adjustment system Mammut have been able to create a comfy and affordable climbing helmet capable of going toe-to-toe with the priciest models on the market.

The hard outer shell provides added protection on the front and top of the head where maximum impact safety is required and horizontal air vents around the back and sides allow for plenty of ventilation without exposing large areas to danger.

An elast strap across the back of the head and well-designed mould makes this a very comfortable helmet to wear. The adjustment system glides effortlessly and doesn't feel at all fiddly though other more complicated designs would be more readily adjusted with big gloves on.

The helmet has two clips at the front and an eleasticated loop on the back for strapping on a head torch.
