It may not look like an original carabiner as there are a few others to share the captive snapgate design. No suprises though when I tell you DMM have taken it and got it bang on. They may have even made all their other 'belay' biners redundant with the Ceros! 

It obviously looks right and feels right (DMM made it after all). It also works just as you'd expect; clip to your belay loop, pull forwards to isolate the rear end of the carabiner and your done! Time to belay without any sneaky spinning biners. With the gate hinge being located on the palm side you can open the internal wiregate as you would the main gate meaning it's as easy and intuative to take off as it is to put on. Perfect. Also, with the internal gate opening down towards the belayer, improper loading is avoided and the gate fails towards the belayer. A small but vital improvement over some competitors.
