Scarpa Instinct VS-R

The eagerly awaited update to the Instinct VS has finally arrived in the form of a blue sibling featuring the softer XS Grip 2 rubber.

The Instinct VS has been a super popular shoe for boulderers and sport climbers alike (as well as for tough trad climbs) and the new VS-R version should prove just as good with the option of going softer straight from the box.

It means a trade off of of losing a touch of edging performance for increased sensitivity, so maybe more suited to gritstone climbers, indoor climbers and polished limestone foot wrapping than minging off vert limestone/slate edges.

A great shoe to complement the old one.
