Bouldering

Bouldering

Typically bouldering shoes are the tightest fitting and the least comfortable, they fit very tight to use the smallest non existent holds. Rubber tends to be thinner and softer for greater sensitivity, tighter heels for heel hooking, more tension in the toe box and a down turned shape for steeper rock. The Idea here is not to keep them on too long and to try really, REALLY hard. Not to be confused with shoes for beginners indoor bouldering where you'll need to keep them on for longer and the holds aren't quite as small, for this we would suggest bigger sizes and sport or beginner shoes and as always if you're unsure give us a call!
