Shipping Terms and Conditions


Orders placed on our website with a value that exceeds £55 will be sent out carriage free to *UK mainland destinations. Orders over £110 will be sent out next day free of charge to UK mainland destinations. Orders under £55 will attract a £3.95 postal charge for Standard Delivery. You also have a choice of Express Delivery and Next Day Courier Service.

*Please note that Highlands, Islands and regions above Glasgow and Edinburgh attract additional postal charges and therefore are excluded from these offers. Once you place an order we will provide you a quote for shipping to these regions for your consideration. There is no obligation to purchase the items should you deem the postage to be too high.


We aim only to show items on our website that are in stock, however there are some reasons why your item may not be in stock: the website is updated on a daily basis, items may be sold in the shop, someone else may have ordered in front of you, the software might have caused an error or we might have slipped up. In any of these cases we will contact you to let you know why and when you can expect your order, at that point you can cancel your order if you wish.

A special note when ordering shoes or boots:

If you are not absolutely sure of your size when ordering boots and shoes it is better to order several sizes of the same shoe so that you do not end up paying additional postage costs when re-ordering. This way your order will almost certainly apply for free postage with us (over £110 to mainland UK) and you simply send back the pairs that do not fit for a refund!

UK Delivery Times:

All in stock items are dispatched the same day if ordered before 3pm on weekdays. Delivery times depend on the shipping method chosen.

Standard Delivery - This is free on orders over £55, otherwise attracts our standard rate of £3.95. Shipping times are typically 3-6 working days.

Express Delivery – The current method employed is Royal Mail 24 hour tracked. This option will normally get your goods to you in 1-2 working days but is not guaranteed despite the name!  This service costs £5.

Next Day Delivery – This can only be applied from Monday through to Thursday at 15:00. Any orders made after this time with a next day request will be shipped on the Monday (unless this is a Bank Holiday) to arrive Tuesday. If you require a Saturday delivery we are happy to oblige but this normally attracts a premium (dependant on size and weight of the item in question), so please contact us and we will be happy to quote you. *Please note there is no next day delivery available for the Highlands and Islands. If you are ordering from the Highlands or Islands and request next day delivery it will be a 48 hour service NOT next day. Next Day delivery for orders under £110 in value is £8.

Shipping of Bouldering mats and other Bulky Items:

Boulder Mats take an extra day to ship as they can only be sent with Parcel Force on a 48hour service. Orders to Highlands and Islands including Northern Ireland will attract an extra charge, we will get in touch and let you know at the time. We will aim to keep this as low as possible but it can be very expensive.

Out of Stock & Pre-Order Items:

If you order an item that is ‘Out Of Stock’ or available on a pre-order basis, we will email you on the next working day after receiving your order and inform you of the expected delivery date of your order. If the expected delivery date is not suitable you can cancel your order with no obligation. If you have paid for any premium postage options this will be refunded to you if we cannot get the goods to you in the stated times. 

International Delivery Times & Procedure:

Depending on the service used, normally 5 to 7 days for European destinations and 3 to 14 days for the rest of the world. For packages under 2 kilograms we will mainly use Royal Mail with a tracked and signed service. Anything over 2 kilograms will require another courier depending on where you are in the world. If you prefer any one courier please let us know and we will get you a quote from them but it could end up costing you a lot more. Again, you are under no obligation to purchase the items.

Getting a quote or making an order:

The quickest way to make an international order is to purchase the items you want and complete the payment process using either PayPal or a Credit/Debit card. We will then weigh and measure the parcel and get a quote from one of many different companies to find you the cheapest price for shipping that covers your order. Once you have had a quote from us please reply as soon as possible so that the quote remains relevant and we can ship your items as soon as possible. If you are happy then we will send you a PayPal invoice for the funds. If you want to know prices for shipping before making an order please email with a comprehensive list and we will try and get back to you within 24 hours with a quote. In the list please include colours and sizes so we can get the most accurate quote and check our current stock. If you live in a remote area of your country then please include your postal or zip code. If you are happy with the quote we give you for shipping please place your order and add a note referring to the shipping quote email. We will then charge the extra on to your card or send you a PayPal request for funds. 

VAT and Shipping:

Since Brexit all orders leaving the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) won't be charged UK VAT (20%) and will be responsible for any import fees on receiveing orders from V12 Outdoor. These Import fees and taxes will vary from place to place and item to item, so please check local rates before ordering. We are not resposible for charges once the order has left V12. Upon receiving an exported order if you do not agree with the charges we will not accept a return for full refund if the orders fee's and taxes go unpaid or unclaimed. This will attract a small admin fee to cover our export time and costs (this fee will be calculated per order). You will however be within your rights to return items, at your own cost, once fees and taxes have been setteled. For example if you have ordered the wrong size shoe etc. Please ensure you send the goods back in the correct manner (Return not Sale) as we won't pay out for incorrectly shipped returns and will take any fee's from your refund.
