Petzl Croll Ascender

The Petzl Croll, originally designed as a chest ascender for caving, has been fully embraced by the rope access world too. It has a flat shape so it can lay against the body when in use with a sit/chest harness combination. Makes any rope ascension more efficient.
Not designed as a self belay device

Petzl Croll Features and Specifications:

• Chrome-plated steel cam with angled teeth and self-cleaning slot securely grips the rope, even in muddy or icy conditions.
• The angled attachment hole keeps the device properly aligned on the chest for better efficiency in use.
• Upper hole is used to attach shoulder strap.
• Safety catch prevents the cam from opening too far thus keeping the rope captured for added safety
• Weight 130g.
