Grivel Mega Twin Gate Self-locking Carabiner

The Grivel Mega is a great medium sized HMS biner designed for belaying and Italian hitching. It's take a few double ropes and provides a nice flat area for the rope to run in. 
What's really interesting about this biner is the twin gate. It looks and feel awkward at first, but once you get the hang of it, it reall does make sense. You simply push open the outer gate and slide it over what ever you are clipping - the inner gate will just snap open. Hey presto clipped in a safe as any screwgate. Z clipping is impossible! Unclipping is even easier, open the inner gate and pull the biner off!
