DMM Mens Mithril Harness

Named after the fabled Mithril, once hacked out of the Welsh hills by small, burly blokes. It's a lightweight yet strong climbing harness to master all disciplines of the climbing realm apart from maybe bouldering...

DMM's newest harness range includes the Mithril, at 380g (M) it's a real lightweight but it'll take you up anything that doesn't require more racking space. That said the Mithril does include 2 ice clipper racking loops so you could add a few of those and increase your space. The Foam used in the new range of harnesses feels nice against the skin, so if it's a sunny Ceuse sport harness you're after this could be it.

Show off your guns without getting a nasty rash, you'll still get a dodgy harness tan line unless you stay in the shade, sorry.

Like Frodo's vest it is impervious to sword, arrow, spear strikes and whippers.*

DMM Mens Mithril Harness technical specifications:

  • 380g for a Medium
  • All season harness
  • Non-absorbant padding
  • Smooth foam
  • 4 gear loops
  • 2 ice clipper loops
  • S,M,L,XL avaliable
  • Not actually made from Mithril taken from Moria, again sorry
  • *It's only impervious to whippers and not sword, arrow or spear strikes. I'm a bit of a LOTR geek and I couldn't help myself.
