Quick Overview

DMM Ceros Screwgate Cosmetic Second

Just like a Ceros Screwgate from DMM but for what ever reason, slightly marred in the looks department. We won't judge but we will sell them a little cheaper. Enjoy!

It may not look like an original carabiner as there are a few others that share the captive snapgate design. No suprises though when I tell you DMM have taken it and got it bang on. They may have even made all their other 'belay' biners redundant with the Ceros!

It obviously looks right and feels right (DMM made it after all). It also works just as you'd expect; clip to your belay loop, pull forwards to isolate the rear end of the carabiner and your done! Time to belay without any sneaky spinning biners. With the gate hinge being located on the palm side you can open the internal wiregate as you would the main gate meaning it's as easy and intuative to take off as it is to put on. Perfect. Also, with the internal gate opening down towards the belayer, improper loading is avoided and the gate fails towards the belayer. A small but vital improvement over some competitors.

DMM Ceros Screwgate Features & Specifications:

Cosmetic 2nds

DMM aren't perfect, sometimes the colour isn't quite right or there's a little blemish. Most of the time you can't even tell why the poor biner has been knocked off to the 2nds bin, what you can tell though is that they are cheaper AND still safe! Don't worry we aren't raiding the bins and filing off the sharp bits, these are all as safe and strong as their full priced counterparts. Once they're gone we likely won't see any more for some time so snap them up while you can.
