Outdoor Research Direct Contact Gloves

Keep contact - without losing precious heat - with the waterproof, windproof, dexterous glove choice for alpine climbers.

The Direct Contact Gloves allows extreme tactility and control over tools and ropes without sacrificing warmth, by using a combination of EnduraLoft® back-of-hand insulation, a durable and heat-trapping leather palm, and a stormproof Ventia™ shell to ward off weather.

A carabiner loop, pull-on entry loop, and glove clip make it easy to store and stash gloves, while a hook and loop wrist closure with undercuff construction keeps wrist opening securely shut under layers to retain maximum warmth. Breathable and wicking, the Direct Contact Gloves are built to accompany adventures from single-pitch cold weather climbing to week-long objectives in the high alpine.
