I bought these as my first pair of climbing shoes and at first was very impressed as they were comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a time and easily met my performance requirements as a complete beginner. They proved stiff enough to stand on small holds and offered reasonble friction when smearing on slabs. As I progressed on to slightly harder routes and especially boulder problems I noticed that they weren't great for attempting to heel hook as they seemed to flex away from the underside of the foot.
After less than 2 months of climbing they were starting to wear out on the toes and speaking to other owners at the wall this seems to be a common problem, wearing out much quicker than many other rock shoes. Not to mention gathering an almighty smell.
Overall not a bad shoe but I wouldn't recommend it.
