Adidas Adizero XT 4
I've been using the previous version of the Adizero for about a year now and can honestly say they are the best trail shoe I've used to date. Having just started running in the XT 4 the feel the same only better
They are light and well aired so dry-out super quick. On top of that they have enough cushioning to run on tarmac for a good distance, yet the Continental rubber sole unit offers the best grip I've had on both wet and dry rock (that includes Five Ten approach shoes), whilst having deep enough tread to provide grip on steep, grassy slopes!
Here's what Adidas have to say about them:
The Adizero XT 4 running shoes are so slimmed down they almost feel like an extension of your foot. These minimalist trail shoes are made from a lightweight microfiber synthetic with a glove-like feel, and they have ADIPRENE®+ that helps you move forward on the trail.
