This neat Velcro shoe is a good all round Technical shoe suitable for a variety of climbing styles, except perhaps super edgey stuff like slate.

It has a nice soft feel, which, combined with the super sticky XS Grip2 rubber, makes it perform well on smeary holds.

There is a slight down turn in the toe box which will deliver good pulling power on steeper ground. The heel is tidy and performs well on marginal heel hooks.

The double strap opening gives quick release convenience and the padded mesh tongue ensures a snug, comfortable fit.

Fit advice:

The Vapour V has a fairly broad fit with a medium volume toe box. The toe box on any double strap shoe is vulnerable to stretch – consequently this one is constructed with low stretch synthetic Lorica, while the back half of the shoe is built from unlined leather.

We would advise dropping one Euro size, or perhaps one and a half Euro sizes from your normal shoe size for a more technical fit.
