Here we have a Classic velcro shoe from Five Ten that is perfect for people who want more performance without paying a fortune, or sacrificing too much comfort.

This comfy all rounder has a fat cinch strap for fitting (rather than relying on the super aggressive heels of the more technical models) and a fairly stiff front and defined arch for support.

It is ideal for anybody starting out or wanting to make the transition from indoor wall to the outdoor crags.

The shoe comes with the original Stealth C4 rubber, which is said to work well in warmer conditions, although we reckon you’ll struggle to tell the difference in most situations.

The synthetic uppers are perforated to stop your feet overheating and reduce odour.

Given that this is a Five Ten shoe, the Rogue has a surprisingly broad fit with a medium/high volume toe box.

The lined, synthetic uppers help reduce stretch.

We would advise dropping half a UK size, or perhaps a full size for a more technical fit.
